I've recently started playing in a Call of Cthulhu campaign. It's my first time with a d100 roll under system. What I have enjoyed about the core dice mechanic is how easy the adjudication process is at the table. I tell the DM what I want to do. They give me a skill to roll. I have the...
I'll add my homebrew counterspells to the pile:
Counterspell (level 3+): you reduce all attack rolls, spell save DCs, and concentration rolls of the target spell by 3 (+1 for each level above 3rd). Not as powerful as the 5e counterspell, but I'm one of those people that doesn't like the all or...
5 years ago I would've said yes. More than anything it is incredibly convenient for table play. However, I've shifted to different approaches lately and haven't used a god list in some time.
Regaining half your hit dice on a long rest. I knew the rule and ran it as such for a while. Somewhere down the line I forgot it and as a player I would regain all my HD on a long rest. When I was DMing it was never something I had to worry about. It randomly came up in conversation a couple...
It may not have been the most interesting game for some, but a revenge Super Bowl win in dominant fashion feels real good. The amount of fireworks going off around my neighborhood was on par with New Years.
Exactly what I was about to say. Swarmkeeper is a complete upgrade over hunter if you're only going 5 levels. It can also be reflavored quite easily. Gloomstalker is also generally useful and pairs well with all the shade and darkness you'll find in Chult.
Edit: Realized after the fact that I misunderstood the assignment. Removed the old quotes and added a new one.
"It's the first time we're leaving witnesses and I'm not okay with that"
Got caught up only a day late for the finale. It was a pretty good season overall and I'm looking forward to season 3. F.E.V., Enclave, another war for Vegas, and potentially more from the commonwealth all feel in play. Not to mention whatever Colorado brings us. I'm also hoping they converge...
With the exception of humans, all of mine are "lesser" versions of some of the more powerful creatures of dnd. No one knows who humans are supposed to be the "lesser" version of and that is troubling for some.
Humans: what's your deal?
Elves: the mortal fey
Dwarves: diminutive giants...
Not true at all. The Patriots are practicing at Stanford University and the Seahawks are practicing at San Jose State University. The same places the Broncos and Panthers practiced at in the lead up to Super Bowl 50, which was held at Levi's Stadium. The same stadium as this year's Super Bowl...
Seahawks. I've been a Seahawks fan my whole life and I think they match up well against the Patriots. As much as I'd like to see them win in a blowout I doubt that happens. The Patriots defense can hang with anyone, their offense is good, and they play a clean game with few penalties or...
Like:
-5e's evolution in regards to summons, most prominently from Tasha's. Much easier to run and play than the conjure spells.
-Feats that give you the "whole package" so to speak. I'm not against feat-chains, but the time in between getting feats is just too long in 5e for me to want them...
