That's right a DM can cheat. That's why every rules infraction that is caught by a player should be challenged, regardless if the infraction is large or small. Everytime a rules infraction goes unchallenged it just gives the DM more opportunities to try and get away with stuff like that...

So, that would be a waste of time. But, then it sounds like you have a lot of time when your group creates characters. Do you always contradict yourself? Point buy is better and rolling is for fools.

Wow! All of you DM's that have your players roll in front of you are anal. If someone is going to cheat, they are going to cheat and you can't stop them. If your DM doesn't use mini's in his game, he's either a fool or likes to cheat. It's probably the latter, so he can keep his precious story intact.

I guess that was the point I was trying to make in my first post. I will definately buy it and give it a try because of my like for B5, but if I don't like something with the rules I'll use d20 Modern to fill the gap. I guess my feelings of MP's other products persuaded me to make a rash...
