That is a nasty drawback, which either requires the orc to be a friend or that you get a specialist conjurer with the GM clearing conjuration spells. Or you just take the time in game to make a similar spell. Custom spells used to be what made a wizard terrifying after all.

Pocket Cave The best conjuration spell is Pocket Cave. Granted it's a higher level spell, but it means no more ambushes. No more "How many rations do you have?" questions from the GM. It also gives you a secure starting point for each day. The issue is that it's primarily an NPC spell unless...
