D&D General Greyhawk book is NOT 'Shield Lands' but 'Borderlands of Iuz' according to team member

I have been listening to The Greycast pod, which is a good deep-dive into old school Greyhawk.

    Our Physical Fitness

I go to the gym 4x a week. I can do 50 push ups in less than a minute. I am still putting weight on (thank you, middle age). Diet is the hardest part. I am also trying to just accept that my 57 year old body looks like a 57 year old body. Not easy. "Time is a stalking beast, Picard..."

OSR There are TWO 'lost' Gygax castles crowdfunding right now

I love C&C as an an operating system, but the Troll Lord's modules ("Tell us what that word means, Grandpa!") are meh.

    AD&D 2E AD&D on D&D Beyond? One Man's Dreams...

It seems like that's the plan, but as you said, other VTTs have licensing agreements (Foundry, Roll20, etc.)

Thank you, brother. I play castles in Crusades and dungeon crawl Classics now! OSE is on the menu too.

    AD&D 2E AD&D on D&D Beyond? One Man's Dreams...

On Mastering Dungeons a few weeks back, one of the hosts said that more people started playing D&D last year alone than played from 1975-2014. I'm not sure how they came up with that metric (maybe number of starter boxes purchased), but regardless: 5e is D&D for many millions of people. And...

D&D General Melf's Guide to Greyhawk: The Shield Lands

You are probably right. But WotC has such a huge backlog of material. Update it for D&D Beyond and I’ll happily pay.

D&D General Melf's Guide to Greyhawk: The Shield Lands

I have wondered if more/most of the dollars currently going toward other systems--DCC, Castles&Crusades, etc.--went back to D&D if it would make financial sense for them to have a well-supported rules variant that was more old school. Probably not. Sigh. A man can dream.

D&D General Melf's Guide to Greyhawk: The Shield Lands

Maybe Luke will make a gritter, OSR-like variant set in Greyhawk. My joy would be substantial.

    How’s the Marmoreal Tomb?

I grew up reading TSR Forgotten Realms supplements that were like three columns per page of 10 point font text with very few pictures. This is not a heavy lift.

    How’s the Marmoreal Tomb?

I am going through it now and I think it's amazing. Freaking huge! I like this much more than Dwarrowdeep.

    AD&D 2E AD&D on D&D Beyond? One Man's Dreams...

I guess I was thinking, there are a lot of people who are not playing D&D anymore, and offering them a different rule set might bring them into the fold. This all occurred to me when I saw that Luke Gygax was going to write some Greyhawk material. I hope, hope, hope they don't turn it into what...
