    Troll Lords Games: Amazing Adventures?

Hello, friends. Has anyone played this system, or have experience with it? I'd love to hear some thoughts before I jump in and buy it, because I am an unrepentant TTRPG harlot.

    D&D General D&D: Literally Don't Understand This

NOW it makes sense! Thank you. I suppose next we’ll see “Drizzit D’Uarden has great jeans.”

    D&D General D&D: Literally Don't Understand This

This image comes from WotC's X feed. I have no idea what this is, nor what it has to do with Dungeons&Dragons, fantasy role playing, or...anything. Is there a new dancer class or something in the 2024 iteration?

    Playing AS monsters?

I've never run it, or played it this way, but I've been noodling an Underdark campaign for some time now, and I thought, what if... I don't play 5e (no offense intended!)

    Playing AS monsters?

Has anyone ever run a game where the players are actual monsters? Like, a party of orcs, or drow or something? I know AD&D metiones this possibility in one of the core books, but I'm curious how often--if ever--people play this way?

D&D General [rant]The conservatism of D&D fans is exhausting.

Is this the longest thread ever, or the one with the most replies or something? Curious.

    Spoilers Fantastic Four (Spoilers)

While I am notorious for being easily entertained, I absolutely loved this. Some of the shots in the movie came directly from the comic books. Reed Richards was great (hint of darkness...) as were all of the others. It looked beautiful, it felt epic and has a total 'comic booky' vibe. Pure...

D&D 5E (2024) Here's The Covers of BOTH of November's Forgotten Realms Books

Dark, brooding, threatening. This is how the Realms were portrayed when I started playing in them back in the 80s. Now it's the twee Muppet show.

    Call of Cthulhu: Sandbox

I have the Arkham one, and that's going to be the setting for sure. I think I'm just going to put breadcrumb trails out and see which way they go, then prep. that. So much of CoC is investigative, and we all like handouts. Can't make those on the fly.

    Call of Cthulhu: Sandbox

Hello, generally pleasant people on the Internet. I am a long time player of Chaosium's Call of Cthulhu. Like, a really long time (since 1983!) I have run more than 100 sessions (not sure how many, to be honest) and I've always run a published scenario, or connected a group of published...

    Spoilers Superman Spoiler Thread

I thought that was a bit over the top, especially with how slowly Ma Kent spoke. It seemed a bit like a characicutre to me. Maybe it was meant to be. Still loved the movie!
