    AD&D 1E Edition Experience: Did/Do you Play 1E AD&D? How Was/Is It?

I played it for about eight years. I enjoyed the system up until the point that I was introduced to other fantasy RPG systems. I do, however, still have praise for many of the 1e modules such as L1: The Secret of Bone Hill, T1: The Temple of Elemental Evil, Against the Giants (G1-G3),

    Post Apocalypse Settings

While I mentioned Apocalypse in an earlier post, for a pre-built setting with a Gamma World vibe, I would go with Darwin's World Nuclear Edition. It provides locations, factions, and plenty of adventure hooks. Drop a lot of the Twisted Earth stuff and you could probably due a successful Mad...

    Post Apocalypse Settings

Here you go. I believe it uses the Deluxe Explorer Edition since it was last updated in 2016, but it should be fairly easy to adapt it to SWADE https://www.drivethrurpg.com/en/product/201070/apocalypse-campaign-guide

    Post Apocalypse Settings

I have seen mention of both Darwin's World and Broken Earth for Savage Worlds. I also want to mention a third Savage Worlds option: Apocalypse by Daring Entertainment The Apocalypse Campaign Guide is a great Savage Worlds sourcebook on building your own Apocalypse. Throughout the book, there...

D&D General Dragonborn as Kobolds: Yea or Nay?

For publishing official settings? No thanks. For homebrew settings or a home campaign in an official setting? Go wild.

D&D General How much Ars Magica is in Dungeons and Dragons 3e?

I do think that there is some Ars Magica influence, but it is in the switch to the unified resolution system (die roll + stat modifier + skill mod+ other modifiers vs DC) and the Commoner standard. Jonathan Tweet's article, "One Roll to Rule Them All", in Dragon Magazine 274 is his designer...

What Lost, Abandoned or Short Lived TTRPG would you like to see get a re-issue and new support?

Do Ghostbusters (original) or Marvel Super-Heroes Adventure Game (the TSR game with the Fate Deck) count?

    Modern Action RPGs

My top recommendations for action games in no order: Outgunned and Outgunned Adventure by Two LIttle Mice which has been mentioned Black Star (and the Black Star Companion) and Magnum Fury (80's Action) by Lakeside Games. However, I don't know if there is VTT support Black Star is pretty much...

    D&D 5E (2024) Representing afflictions in D&D 5e - which do you think work best/least dislike.

Skirmisher Press needs to do a 5e version of their Insults & Injuries which was a supplement on real-world diseases by a gamer/practicing medical doctor. I have both the 3.5 and Pathfinder versions and would buy a 5e version as well.

D&D General 5 Cool Facts About the Inca and How to Use Them in D&D

About ten years ago, I took one or two courses that had sections on the Inca (in South America), and several Meso-American cultures including the Olmec, Mayans, and Aztec. I am, now, tempted to pull out the text books and class handouts and notes. Edit: I remember Khan Academy having good...

D&D General 5 Cool Facts About the Inca and How to Use Them in D&D

I think it would be cool to have a culture that didn't have writing, but used quipu (a.k.a khipu), a system of knots used for record keeping. I don't use goodberry and create food and water is much more rare in my campaigns ( if I include it at all). Therefore, I would find it much more...
