I have seen it used twice. Once as a player and once as a DM. As a player...pulled three cards (L12 Wizard/Evoker). I lost all of my worldly possessions (including spell book) and gained a brand new figurine of wonderous power. Oh...I also shot up two or three levels. As a DM...it really...

As the DM for my group, I do, but it is by choice more than anything else. I just put aside the seven or eight hours of overtime I make each month and budget that into my gaming. If I don't have the OT, I don't spend it.

One of my players asked earlier this year if his 14 year old step-son could join our game. As the DM I had no problem with it, and the other guys went along with it just fine. When it came time for game play, I just kept things a little simpler for the younger player. I tended to present him...

How so? The original was a hand drawn sketch that I scanned in and refined a bit, so it might be a bit rough even after all the work I have done. Is there anything specific that strikes you? (Just looking for ways to make things better. I appreciate the feedback.) :o

:) Ya got me. I reread the book not too long ago and decided to swipe the name. hmmm.....tainted resurrections......that might be something to think about. Automatic conversion to chaotic evil, gain an undead template and some other goodies. Mr. Mojo, I think you have something here! :]

Thanks for the nice remarks. The name plate in the corner was done in paintshop. The "fantasy alphabet" was made freehand with calligraqphy brushes done at different angles. No rhyme or reason, I just made shapes that looked nice. However, I just noticed that the top and bottom runes are...
