Nope, it's stating... Need more data. I've admitted i don't have experience playing the game... thus I believe it is premature to declare it 2x faster than 5e... As for whether I am going to play the game, I've bought it, read it, and have a group who made characters up last Saturday to play...

Ok... because your anecdotal experience is all the data needed to come to a sound conclusion... especially since you earlier rejected another poster's anecdotal claim... but yes continue to tell me how I'm wrong with your minimal data points. I'm not wrong because I haven't come to a conclusion...

This also brings up another point in that for most of the Daggerheart combats it's a smaller group... no Liam and no Laura until episode 4. I'm not saying DH definitively isn't faster than D&D... I'm saying I think it's premature to start claiming it runs 2x faster.

The Daggerheart terrain is set up much quicker than the D&D terrain... it's set up beforehand offscreen and he just brings the board over.

And I'm not sure why the DH combat with the Guardian (17 mins) and the combat with the Corrupted Katori (53 mins) have such a large variation for a single monster battle... Yeah it's almost like both systems have variable factors that can increase or decrease the time a combat takes depending...

You know with the magic of YouTube we have actual times to compare. My theory is that people are comparing high level D&D fights with these low level Daggerheart combats... when if you actually look at some of the numbers... the times are around the same range... also I'll note there is alot...

You know what... you're right and to be fair I have found shows that do a better job of showcasing the strengths and differences of Daggerheart vs. D&D like Bitten... so I'm going to bow out.
