The D&D minis are based on a 25mm (1:60) scale, which is pretty much the industry standard. All of Games Workshop's Warhammer and related lines are produced at that scale, as is their Lord of the Rings line. I believe the HeroClix and Mage-Knight lines from WizKids are also at that scale, but...
