IIRC, Gaseous Form has no verbal component. It might be a very good solution for BBEG spellcasters caught unexpectedly in a area that limits mobility anyway . . . as seldom is construction, much less nature, air-tight. Any other worthwhile spells that don't require a verbal component?

I think AEG (the Legend of the Five Rings people) did a rather good ninja. It can be found here: AEG Ninja The saves have been errata-ed for a strong reflex and weak will. I think (esp. now in 3.5) it needs evasion added, plus I add an exotic weapon pro. or two. Best of luck.

By the way, the names on the map like Nippon Dominion, Erypt, etc., are "place holder names"- no actual name exists. The place holder names were a mnemonic (sp?) device to remind the creator (Gygax) what he intended to be there when he got around to future development. So don't feel restrained...
