    D&D 3.x Still playing 3e? Share your 3.0 and/or 3.5 house rules

Made some fixes based on the feedback of several people. Many wording ambiguities have been clarified, with a few new things added (some feats and synergy bonuses for classes).

    D&D 3.x Still playing 3e? Share your 3.0 and/or 3.5 house rules

Well, I had nothing better to do the past week so here's a collection of all my homebrew rules on D&D 3.5e. I'd say it's more akin to a 'fan patch' than just a few intricacies at my table. I like to kid myself that I write these things for my own players, but they are not the kind of people that...

    Metamartial Feats (For 3.5e)

Death Attack is available at the level a Cleric gets Slay Living. Although a spell, Slay Living is a Standard Action and a Touch Attack as well. Death Attack is a full-round action and has a -10 penalty on the hit. It is at-will, but you have to sacrifice your turn doing nothing else, and your...

    D&D 3.x Still playing 3e? Share your 3.0 and/or 3.5 house rules

A collection of feats for martial characters. The general idea is, "sacrifice BAB, do things". I use them on my table in place of obscure feat chains and prestige classes my players will never touch in a million years.

    Metamartial Feats (For 3.5e)

I might be late to the party, but this is my interpretation of the metamartial maneuvers of the same name in Craig Cochrane's Immortals Handbook: Ascension. The general idea was to expand on their sub-epic level uses for my table's needs, but the concept remains the same. This does not mean that...

    D&D 3.x Still playing 3e? Share your 3.0 and/or 3.5 house rules

Yeah I can understand, but my group is kinda more interested in seeing how certain classes (core and supplemental) work at high levels in short-story formats instead of long campaigns from zero. I've attempted to run actual campaigns for them (with mixed success), but I believe I have...

    D&D 3.x Still playing 3e? Share your 3.0 and/or 3.5 house rules

I've been routinely running short stories for my group at the 15+ Level starting point (5-session Expeditions or Dungeon Crawls, maybe 1-2 sessions more depending on the story in question), and I've more or less done away with the default Starting Wealth system and the way you are supposed to...

GOD RULES: Player's Guide (5e) Kickstarter Pre-Launch Page

I don't want to be an obnoxious "ackthually" guy, but a base saiyan adult is considered to be stronger than Raditz in-universe, who is a "weakling". Although, I'll be honest my memory is vague on the matter and this might be more fan canon than anything else. Also I honestly have no idea what...

    D&D 3.x Alternative Epic System for 3.5e

After much needed feedback and a general rewrite of the system, I believe I'm done. I've considered and heard several expectations on what people might need from a 'playable' epic system for 3.5e. The core system is ~4 pages long, with additional pages devoted to sample material for your own...

GOD RULES: Player's Guide (5e) Kickstarter Pre-Launch Page

The only "legal" (and 100% unintended) mass devastation spell that comes to mind is an extremely watered down Locate City bomb (Snowcasting -> Flash Frost -> Energy Admixture -> Maybe toss one more Metamagic -> 9th Spell) for ~50 energy damage over ~200 miles, in 3.5e anyway.

GOD RULES: Player's Guide (5e) Kickstarter Pre-Launch Page

I perfectly agree with your point of view, what slights me is people misinterpreting inconsistent and bad writing retconned years later as somehow "always that way all along". DBZ Fighters being toned down to "realistic" levels is not something that bothers me.

GOD RULES: Player's Guide (5e) Kickstarter Pre-Launch Page

It was stated by Kami (during the later episodes of original DB) that he brought it back after permanently removing Goku's tail. Also that is, if I remember correctly, the only time the show attempted to explain the status of the Moon with any kind of consistency.

GOD RULES: Player's Guide (5e) Kickstarter Pre-Launch Page

Vegeta clearly didn't find the Moon and needed to use a technique to transform to an Oozaru. I am terribly sorry for all the people out there that want to say otherwise, but Piccolo blasted the Moon. It was not a metaphorical Moon, it was not an illusionary Moon, it was the actual Moon. If it...

GOD RULES: Player's Guide (5e) Kickstarter Pre-Launch Page

We can argue what Piccolo's Beam was at that point, but the hard fact is 2 episodes later he blasted the moon as a Standard Action. If he blasted the Moon without batting an eye then his Moon Buster at that point was weaker than his Special Beam Cannon, which required ~50 rounds (5 minutes ×10...

GOD RULES: Player's Guide (5e) Kickstarter Pre-Launch Page

Raditz can more or less tank moon-buster shots, and no sell said moon-busters. He is hypersonic (or superluminal if you go by certain dubs, but that's a stretch) and is considered a supreme weakling in his setting. Even then however, I cannot give him a bigger number than yours since he has no...
