Kickstarter related...

It looks like a tenfold jump in complexity for me to charge the printing and (in particular) shipping costs (via Pledge Manager) within the Kickstarter. I'm not sure I need that added pressure on my first Kickstarter.

Both seemed to do well. Though they both notably charged more for the Book (+PDF) than the PDF alone.

Hey U_K! I was wondering, what CR would Great Wyrm Prismatic/Force/Time Dragons be in the 5e God Rules?

Good question.

As a default I operate under a +4 CR. for Feywild/Shadowfell monsters and +8 for Elemental/Astral.

Ancient Epic Dragons would therefore be CR's 28 or 32. That roughly parallels Bahamut and Tiamat - whom you could rate at either CR.

Great Wyrms are an interesting idea, but I am not sure how that meshes with Bahamut and Tiamat - both you would expect, old enough to be considered at least Great Wyrms. Also why are Great Wyrms +2-4 CR when all other age categories are +7, diminishing returns maybe? Just seems weird.

Time Dragons, as in proper, 4D dragons should probably be at least CR. 40. But looking at dragons vs. mortals, the strongest are +12 CR. above mortals (+4 if we assume Quasi-deities are still somewhat mortal). Retaining that parity suggests Bahamut/Tiamat should be CR. 40*, Time Dragons CR 56.

it's possible IO was an epic Dragon of CR. 40 and thus Bahamut/Tiamat are legit unique beings of CR. 32 or whatever. That probably makes more canonic sense in D&D.

I'm sure I'll solve this puzzle come the Bestiary.

By the way working on the first in a series of Blog articles for the website where I rate a 'Verse' according to my rules. The first is about Dragonball rankings and I now have my top down rankings for that whole verse and I think a base Saiyan Adult would be more akin to Challenge Rating 28 (Divine Rank 4, Lesser God) with Raditz about CR 36* Divine Rank 6, Greater God.

*So I did undervalue him initially John98GR, you were right.

Not sure when exactly the website itself (and article) will go live, got a bit of a busy week ahead with getting the Facebook Ads sorted and finishing the Magic Chapter of the book. But I'll keep you all updated.

I don't want to be an obnoxious "ackthually" guy, but a base saiyan adult is considered to be stronger than Raditz in-universe, who is a "weakling". Although, I'll be honest my memory is vague on the matter and this might be more fan canon than anything else. Also I honestly have no idea what these CRs mean in the 5e sense. I would place King Kai as a "Lesser God", with the Supreme Kais being "Greater Gods" if we are to scale power through divinity. I still consider that your "CR 12 Raditz" statement is not actually that bad, considering Z Fighters suffer (and will always suffer) from the "I cast Dominate" clause.

Anyway. If I were to use your guidelines and actually provide something useful in my post, I'd say:
Kami: Rank 1-2 Immortal
King Yemma: Rank 3-4 Immortal
King Kai and his counterparts: Rank ~5 Immortals
*Grand Kai would be a solid 6.
Supreme Kais: Rank 9-10 Empyreans.
Majin Buu / Janemba: Rank ~11 Sidereals.
Omega Shenron: Solid 14 Sidereal.
Gods of Destruction: 15-16 Transcendentals.
Angels: 17-18 Transcendentals.
Grand Minister: Maybe low Eternal? Or heavily buffed Transcendental.
Zeno: I have no clue.

Frieza was created by fans for Pathfinder. They did a fairly good job. I'll try to find it.
