Dang, it must be even older, or, quite likely, my memory is off a bit.
No offense to either posters linked here, but I remember the writing being of a higher level.
Hey everyone. I hope this is allowed.
I’m trying to find a very old thread (3.0 or earlier) about a paladin who is quite unusual. I remember him spitting holy water in a succubus’ or demons face, and him always drinking just enough so he wouldn’t get drunk.
It was highly entertaining and I seem...
I would very much like to round out this already balanced party with a character that is both mechanically strong and fun.
We are starting at level 1, and here is the party we have so far:
-dwarf fighter (sword n board)
-halfling rogue (melee and ranger)
-human tempest cleric (two handed...
I think the most effective (and most likely to survive) high level warrior is a paladin, but you already have two classes with high CHA, so that seems a bit much.
I’d personally go bladesinger, but I love wizards.
An eldritch knight with a 2 level war wizard dip is a very effective warrior...
Not exactly.
I’m asking if making your two attacks with shadow blade is more or less effective than dual wielding short swords, and making a booming blade attack, a regular attack, and a bonus action attack.
I’m thinking, at least without the elven accuracy feat, you might actually be better...
I know these guys got a huge bump in Tasha’s, and I am not sure if they’re better off after level 6 using two weapons and throwing a booming blade in the mix, or if they should be using shadow blade, even though that means booming blade isn’t an option.
OR, is it possible to use booming blade...
It seems to me this build comes on line quickest as a single classed character.
Your best bet is to take warcaster as your first feat anyway, and I was thinking this would be a fantastic combo on a bladesinger.
Am I correct in this analysis?
