Yes while it's in the PHB, some DM's don't allow it or move the first level feat, back until you hit level 4 as it's incredibly powerful!

Thought it might be a good addition, but was looking at it earlier to see if it was actually worth it. If not then I can always change races, even if the level 1 feat helps the stats might be better from another class plus a possible dark vision.
