    D&D 4E Anyone make a Binder class for 4E?

They look ok to me as a guideline, although may be feats could reduce the material cost by 20% (min 0% of normal) and ritual cost by 10% (min 50% of normal) otherwise I can see a Vestige specialist struggling to get the cash.

Well, if a non-wizard/cleric can't do a regular ritual at level 1 I guess they shouldn't be able to do a vestige ritual. We can still reduce the cost to keep it in line with other rituals, then at leats they can afford it at level 2 more easily.

100gp. Maybe we need to check through similarly leveled rituals to see what they cost. Pitty the costs are spead out instead of all being in one place for easy reference.

Fine by me. 20% reduction to material cost per feat but you still need to buy the ritual to start with. One quibble on price... the 1st level Vestiges cost a lot to learn for a 1st level character, unless you're a cleric or wizard and get them for free. Is this OK? Should we change it?

I'd want cost reductions for those who have invested in Pact magic, rather than just very charismatic people personally. One free vestige every two Pact feats, or something.

They are fine by me as long as we agree on some kind of discount system for regular users.

You know what, I've added the prices for each ritual into the Wiki, by level, and I think in retrospect you're probably right, making single vestiges free instead of all of them is the way to go. We could roll it into the existing feats though... one free vestige per feat?

I'm happy with the rules. We can work on balance and probably agree on one of the two price arangements. I think it's 20% at the start of the game, rather than in the middle, after which you have a fixed cost per vestige. I'm usualy wary about putting maths, beyond adding/subtracting single...

    D&D 4E Anyone make a Binder class for 4E?

If having the same Vestige bound every day is something every character will want then we have done something wrong. I can see specific builds wanting permanent vestiges, but like multiclass feats, they shouldn't be for everyone. Also, specialising in specific vestiges sounds interesting, but...

For Amon... 1st/2nd level: He will replace everything you have from your class. The only things left are feats (you may have to spend one on Ritual Casting) and racial abilities. You could try for a mean Defender character. You can still mark using fire damage, you retain your high hit points...

Each feat you take could reduce the cost by 20%, so if you have 5 you an do it for free.

    D&D 4E Anyone make a Binder class for 4E?

We started with a binder class and ditched it in favour of the rituals. I don't really know how well it would fit with the current system of rituals. You could try and merge the current vestige stats into my orgional class idea, where you have up to three Vestiges that grant you your alotment of...

I figured if you really focus on something it should be quite reliable. Let the amateurs worry about bad pacts and limited augmentations, if you've sunk several feats into something you should do it well IMO. I'll add those feats to the wiki, and took the liberty of making a third feat. We need...

    Reliable Dailies

I'm running a party of 4 at level 1, so they have quite limited resources to stack advantages, maybe that's the real issue.

    Reliable Dailies

In my experience people seem to need between 8 and 12 to hit on most attacks against most things, hence a guess at 50%. Fighters have reliable powers... they get a huge bonus because if you miss, you can try something else instead AND keep the power. Pretty much all dailies do something on a...
