Unless the party objects, The Vicar will extinguish his candle and pick up the sunrod to use for illumination, and fall in line in the tunnell.

    Dungeon of DOOM

The world is your world, obviously and in the end has to have your hand and flavor. But since you asked ... just some random "first thoughts" that popped into my head based on some of your questions ... 1. What is the expedition searching for? Anything valuable obviously, but that's not enough...

    It's a Dragon Attack!

Thank you all for the replies, and I thought I'd just take a moment to let you all know how it went. I used an Ancient White, and gave her the feats of Hover, Snatch, Wingover and Flyby Attack (amongst other). Since I also have a large party I rarely set up a situation where they are...

    Shackled City - Ch. 1: Life's Bazaar

Master Ghelve mentioned something about leaving a map with you when he pointed me down the stairs ... do you mind if I have a look? OOC: Okay ... presuming the party shows The Vicar the map, there should be a room at the end of the hall to the left? Also, referencing the drawing of our current...

    Dungeon of DOOM

The only advice I can offer is this: My campaign seems very similar to yours, in that it is also player driven and that I rarely find myself havling to build large, complicated dungeons. But, my players threw me a curve when they decided to get out of the wandering do-gooder mode and decided...

Shackled City - Meta (hope themind doesn't mind)

also ... my character hasn't seen the map yet, but I have. :D What do you guys make of that map? Do we have a specific point in mind that we want to check out, or are we looking at a room-by-room search for now?

Shackled City - Meta (hope themind doesn't mind)

Just want to chime in and say I agree, we're probably looking at some kind of slave trade based on that riddle. The list of kidnapees is interesting, and while I don't see a pattern I don't think it's a coincidence that so many different people and professions have been taken.

    Shackled City - Ch. 1: Life's Bazaar

To Friar Blutock: "Word comes that you are needed urgently, in Sassarine. Jenya has instructed The Vicar to come and assist these adventurerers in your stead." To the party: "She need not even have asked; the children of the orphanage are dear to me and I'd have wanted to help no matter...

    Shackled City - Ch. 1: Life's Bazaar

You all hear some footsteps coming down the stairs, followed by a muffled *cough* and the sound of a man muttering softly to himself "... and upon the path of righteousness the devoted will find companions, and will know them by their action and their deeds and by the truth that burns in their...
