In Dungeon #170, we took some time to help expand content around Phlan (hey, old school Pool of Radiance fan here) for the Monument of the Ancients adventure. I agree with the comments around micro-settings with nearly limitless possibilities when zoomed in.

Dave Christ (Baldman) is one of the best guys in the industry.

The 3rd-Party folks that are working on Adventures have done a great job. I have zero complaints with the quality of the work. Heck, they're all former WotC D&D folks anyways. I think it's great, as the institutional knowledge of the brand and game is still right in the mix.
