Rockhorn has climbing pitons, he could put two through handles and then use rope to create tension so the points hold...
Good idea...except adamantine ladder is basically indestructuble by mundane means and given enemy setup with spider climbers and wizards probably not useful.
But blocking...yells the idea in game, someone ought to have non magical weapon to put through the handles

Maybe bring them out, let the first group start out, we attack them, we separate them, maybe drop some of them before the rest come out....then we move back, and trigger the traps randomly while retreating :)
He flies as fast as he can, he doesn't risk flying over mining or wizard district or direclty over the palace, otherwise he goes at height of 150 feet and risks occaional crossbow bolt if needed
