How would the names for the Otherworldly Domains have associations that people would understand though? The Domains don't match any settings in the real world or in mythology that they could be associated with. Could you provide some examples or ideas of names that you would think work? You...

I don't think it's a petty critique. It's not what I expected people to bring up, but that doesn't make it any less useful. The four Otherworldly Domains are themed around the range of human emotions. Their physical environments where themed after their emotional component, not the other way...

Scopa! Took me long enough, but it looks like we finally narrowed down on the issue. I will split up the paragraphs more for the fourth draft of the document. Going to take me a while to complete that reformatting, but nothing about this project can exactly be done quickly.

I am not going to be commercializing this TTRPG, so that really shouldn't be a major concern. All of the fonts I used (Impact, Spectral, and Georgia) extend rights to universal use on non-commercial projects. As much as I would love to collect some money I can spend to pay copy-editors, artists...

I don't follow. What would line spacing do that paragraph indentations are not doing already? It's not like paragraph indentations are hard to notice or unfamiliar to readers. Calling it a wall of text seems like a stretch, given that the definition of a wall of text is that it doesn't have...

I believe you are experiencing a problem with how your computer registered the PDF. The Guidebook should have paragraph indentations, sections with headings, and images. Could you send me a screenshot of what you are seeing? If it's truly a wall of text then the file that I am seeing is not what...

Third draft of the Guidebook is out! It has been reformatted as a PDF and some confusing elements have been clarified, along with other things.

A second version of the document has just been released, and this one includes artwork! Thank you to everyone who gave advice on what other changes to make for the second draft.

I think they certainly could be, one day (though I find the word "genuine" was overkill as well). We're already seeing people give more thought to video games, which are roughly about as old as TTRPGs. And at the end of the day TTRPGs, depending on how they are done, still share more than a few...
