So the idea is that Bledsaw doesn't profit, and licensing royalties are instead earmarked for Kickstarter refunds? If so. It's a novel solution.
I wanted to say how heartbreaking all of this is, not only for reflecting badly on OSR, but on older D&D players in general. Our table's "Appendix N" back in the day would have included socially conscious media like Star Trek the Next Generation and X-men... And we just were a fairly open minded...
Wow, that looks pretty cool tbh. I recently made the decision to use OSE for a retroclone to homebrew (with bits of Shadowdark and Black Sword Hack). I'm going to pick it up to pick apart for homebrew. I started as a player with ad&d 2e back in '90 and have wanted to try out 1e.

I think I found my slip up. It's the "Low Level Adventurers and Low CR Monsters" rule. I didn't double the CR for the fractional monsters. I'll show myself out. lol
I'm building a ECR3 fight using zombies for a 3rd level party. So if I was using all zombies, I would think it would use 12 zombies (CR 1/4 * 12 = 3). However I noticed something that made me unsure... The sample Zombie Encounters for CR 3-4 (MM p434) indicate some CR 3&4 solo mobs, but for a...
