Looking at playing in 15th level campaign that will progress through 20th level
As it is my first high level campaign I am trying to get thoughts on a Conquest Paladin (6)/ College of Whispers Bard (14). This character will be helping hold the front line along side a barbarian, with other party...
I agree having fun is the first priority. Also, I do feel my PC is greatly diminished by the modification. Hence we are revisiting. Also, I like your suggestion.
Honestly it was no big deal... it was not character killing and the game was still fun. I was allowed to replay and choose other alternative options for my turn but I don't want my character hampered long term and hence we are revisiting the discussion.
In a recent session my halfling monk landed what should have a stunning blow on a winter wolf (Large Size). However the DM ruled that as a small sized creature he could not stun a creature two sizes larger than himself. Not one to disrupt game flow with lengthy debates, we continued the session...

Phase 2: Ranger 3 levels

-- Archery (+2 Att roll) <fighting style>
-- Spell casting 3 spells per long rest <you only know 3 at 3rd level. I would choose from the below>

-- some equivalent...
I agree
[Alert feat] +5 initiative
[Gloomstarker] +10 MV round 1
[Gloomstarker] +1 ATT round 1
[Monk] Stunning Strike
[Monk] Flurry of Blows
[Assassin] Advantage vs CR who haven't taken a turn in the combat
[Assassin] Alls hits on surprised CR = critical hit
Make for some pretty interesting...
I am new to E5 and playing a Kensei Monk who just reached level 6. I am considering multi classing at 7th and have broken my progression up into 4 phases with phases 2 and 3 being interchangeable. Yes I have read that multi classing Monk is not the norm so I would like to get the thoughts of...
