I think Pathfinder did a very good job with the drow : they made them very frightful (sadistic and demon worshippers). No sane player would lile to play one but they make very good antagonists. However, the concept of good elves turning drow when they are angry is pretty lame...
In Art & Arcana (featuring the history of D&D), they finish the book saying "geeks have inherited the earth" (because D&d and RPG in general) went from a nerd hobby to a mass hobby
For me it's clearly the French version of the Draconomicon 3.5.
Very few exemplaries were edited . A few weeks after its release 3.5 tranlations in french stopped.
I got it for 80€ (and was lucky...)
Clearly, my most anticipated 2025 rpg is the last edition of Paranoia ("the perfect edition") in french.
