Yeah, GROM has the right of it. This has been a really fun campaign, but I just don't have the motivation to keep fighting fungus people for another couple weeks only to end it. If it had been Ieana, sure, i'd have pressed on for the closure, but not this.
You guys have all been great...
As the silvery flames from Arashi Tenken battle the poisonous influence of the fungus lord inside Noriaki's body, he struggles to bring down his foe. He hunches down and springs forward, slashing low, but Arashi Tenken slides off the tough hide of the plant. Frustrated, Noriaki foregoes...
May as well play with my new rage, then. It's been a good run, guys. Mewness, if you ever feel like running again, feel free to email me.
Noriaki runs his hand over Arashi Tenken's length, chanting a spell under his breath. The spells takes Arashi Tenken's misguided rage and channels it...
Noriaki takes a deep breath, heartened by Takahaan's show of force, and rushes back into battle, executing a fine strike against one of the zombies that would have slain it if it were a man, but as a zombie, it did not rely on its organs as a man might.
Taking Stand The Fallen for +16hp...
The noxious spores from the zombies begin to get the better or Noriaki, and he coughs a few times, looking embarassed at the action. He pulls away from the spore cloud and tries to catch some fresher air away from the foe before rejoining the fray.
Move: to A11
Noriaki takes advantage of the zombie's distraction to slip behind it. He strikes, his blade flashing in the sun briefly before slashing at the fungus-infested corpse.
Standard: pressing strike on blue zombie
shifting to C13, hit it, barely, for 19.
Male Human Thaneborn...
Noriaki realizes first what the group is facing. "More plant zombies! Like on the main island!" He sets his jaw and puts a hand on his sword hilt, surveying the foe. "Taka, with me, we'll hit the left one and stop their flanking manuever!" Not waiting to see if the dragonborn agrees...
Noriaki notices Kane's attitude and softly repeats an adage his old master taught him, "'It takes but a moment to draw a blade, but the consequence of approaching with drawn blade can last a lifetime.'"
Noriaki responds, his voice cutting the thick silence. "I think not. Ghouls would have attacked us, right? Like the others did? I don't like this place. Let's get it mapped and figure out if Ieana is here."
Well, I've signed up for Roll20. And I'd be glad to play a little longer and take down Ieana for a good possible ending.
In the meantime, you can think on what you'd like to do. There's not really any system I wouldn't play with a good group.
Retraining Escalating Violence for Vault the Fallen
Taking Silver Phoenix Rage for level 5 daily.
Taking free Heavy Blade Expertise
Ready for whatever comes next :)
Male Human Thaneborn Barbarian 5
Initiative: +5(+7 with Takahaan)
Passive Perception: 12
I've enjoyed this group, too, and I kinda don't want to disband. If we must, we must, but if there's something we can do to keep going, I say we do it. Even if that means switching systems and/or a new campaign with as many of us are as willing.
Noriaki snarls as the withered witch draws away, and he slips around the others to get a good shot at her. As he passes Takahaan, he sees his opening. He rushes in, and the world seems to slow to standstill as Noriaki unleashes a strike with perfect timing and technique, severing Nylithati's...
