My group uses a table with a 40" display built into it. For reference, here is what it looks like. You can see the miniatures (which are standard one inch) on the grid, which should give you an indication of how much battle space it gives you. We haven't had any issues with that size...
Pencil and paper.
Encumbrance is easier to track due to the bulk system. It’s much easier to tell at a glance if picking up an extra piece of equipment will encumber a character or not.
I've been enjoying the game. Been finding it more satisfying than 5e for some reason. Here's what I love:
+ Attributes, by default, are not randomly generated and the system is easy to understand.
+ Not everything gets attacks of opportunity.
+ Three actions in combat.

We have just recently started a game using the Pathfinder 2 Playtest rules (available for free on the Internet). Looking for one or two players in the Muncie, IN area to join us.
Our group has been playing weekly for the last five years. We are looking to add a new player or two to the D&D 4E campaign we recently started. Lots of fun to be had.
We wouldn't want to do that, though; because I run MapTools which allows me to see thing that they can't see on the Client side. For example, I can use Fog of War in dungeons so that areas they haven't explored aren't visible. I can also make things like trap effects (pits, fire, etc)...
