I'm curious about the 12d6+4 on healing blast. How are you getting +4? I assume (glaive) is Eldritch Glaive, but it doesn't add strength or other damage mods that I'm aware.
I fully agree, there are loads of spells that already have significant advantage with extend spell such as Greater and Superior Resistance and Mind Blank which extend to 48 hour durations. It keeps the caster protected and they get the slots for other spells the following day. It just takes some...
Pretty much, yes though preparing spells at 9:00pm seems odd given that said wizard would then need to rest 8 hours prior to preparing which takes an hour, but given circumstances it may be a practical decision.
If a wizard blows through their entire spell repertoire in a single encounter, (In...
Senko, Part 2 is your own home brew system and if it works for you then great. However; in standard 3.5 d20 where it takes an hour to prepare spells casters only get to do that once per 24 hour period. After that they can rest all they like, but they only get to prepare spells once a day. They...
I believe you're misreading this. Any spells cast within the previous 8 hours count against her daily spell limit for the next day. This rule is for preparing spells after an encounter during your watch or during the 8 hours before a caster prepares spells. If as an example above states the...
Nice responses, but here are a couple I didn't see and are great spells.
1st
Protection from Evil (prevents compulsions for a 1st level spell? sign me up)
4th
Assay Resistance/Dimensional Anchor combo (To keep the BBEG's from escaping)
Ray Deflection (to prevent those nasty ray and orb spells...
I'll play whatever the party needs.
As for times 8pm Central would work for me. 7:00pm is a bit early as my kids are still up.
So far the party looks like:
Wizard (Conjurer)
Duskblade (melee or ranged)
Rogue
<my character here>
I'm thinking maybe a druid, or possibly a ranger type.
If you still have any spots please let me know.
What times are you thinking of running this?
I'm on east coast US time and can play at night after 9:00pm generally.
Either campaign sounds good, and text would be fine. Please send the link to the program I'd need to install.
Thanks!
Thanks for the clarification. I had always played it as identical to Freedom of Movement, but the wording of the text came up in a discussion recently. :)
