Traveller T20: Tales of the Bray Keaven [Updated 12-20-05]

That'd be me...I created the Doc and played him at the start. When it looked like I was on the verge of heading over to a certain infamous sandy part of the world, I put Saro up for adoption, so to speak, just in case I had to make a sudden departure. Luckily, I ended up not having to go on...

Traveller T20: Tales of the Bray Keaven [Updated 12-20-05]

I played Dr. Saro during this timeframe and I just wanted to say that I remember that when Vargas' came out with his "Illuminazis" line I nearly choked on my Coke with laughter when I read it for the first time. And it still gives me a chuckle.

    I miss the pretty pages

The white pages don't bother me...it's the title logo that bugs me. Both the Dragon and Dungeon logos have gone from (IMO) stylistic lettering to some retro balloon-y lettering that might have been cool...in the 50s..ugh. Bring back the old logo I say....but we all know that won't happen...

Traveller T20: Tales of the Bray Keaven [Updated 12-20-05]

    Egyptian RPG?

You could also try the books by Wilbur Smith. Set in ancient Egypt, main character is a priest/scholar IIRC. Not a fantasy setting, more of suspense/mystery style.

    Egyptian RPG?

It looks like great minds think alike Agback. :) We posted right on top of each other with the same info.

    Egyptian RPG?

I believe that GURPS has (or had) an Egypt sourcebook out.

    AEG Empire, how is it?

Well, this is what happens when folks start using the definitions of words from the OED Edition 3.5 :D

    AEG Empire, how is it?

Nope, not a revision per se. The original print run sold out, so they did a second printing, incorporating errata from the first print run.
