    Predator: Badlands | Official Trailer

I took my brother to see it back in November. We thought it was great as a sci-fi action movie. Reminds me a fair bit of the original Aliens vs Predator comic book.

    Battletech RPG

Barbarian (Path of the Berserker, Path of the Wild Heart) Fighter (Banneret, Battle Master, Champion) Monk (Warrior of the Open Hand) Ranger (Beastmaster) – you can choose to have your ‘beast’ be a robot. Rogue (Assassin, Thief) And I just saw the new Artificer, which would probably also work...

    Battletech RPG

I am running a battleTech campaign using the battletech rules for Mech combat, and using a modified D&D 5th edition for the role-playing side. If anyone is interested in seeing my rule book, I could share a Google Drive link.

    Battletech Public Playtest Thread

I did a playtest with the new aerospace battlefield support rules last night. Has anyone else tried them. I like that they make it easy to introduce aeros to mech combat, certainly compared to the full Total Warfare ruleset. But while this system is playable and fine, my friend and I thought...

    ZEITGEIST Cypherblade's Zeitgeist campaign

Y'know, I'm not sure any other group I've read about actually tried going down the canal with medallions this early in the campaign. Thanks for the write-up.

    ZEITGEIST Tizbiz Zeitgeist Campaign

First of her name. Aww, cute. I am quite excited to see how this plays out. Of all the iterations of ZEITGEIST I've read, Gabriel is the PC with, like, the biggest grievance against the Clergy.

ZEITGEIST The Flint Irregulars, whose portraits you may have seen

That's neat. Are you still playing once a year for like a week? Was the most recent session in October?

    Scotland trip

If you make it to Skye, way on the north western edge there's Castle MacLeod. It has a very nice garden. Probably not worth driving all the way there just for that. But we stayed with a very nice lady who lived at the Northwest point of Skye, and that was an attraction that was relatively close.

Review of The Scouring of Gate Pass (Spoilers)

Do note, though, that the original 3rd edition version of the adventure was smaller. Encounters were added in the 4e version (nominally, I believe, to provide more XP because 3e went to 20th level and 4e went to 30th), and many of those encounters stick out as not being as narratively...

Review of The Scouring of Gate Pass (Spoilers)

Oh wow, old thread to bump, but welcome! There are a lot of parts of GMing that get intuitive once you've done it enough. A big part is - like jazz - deciding what not to do. The focus of The Gauntlet is that you're being hounded by people up top and driven toward a threat up ahead. I...

    ZEITGEIST Tizbiz Zeitgeist Campaign

Fifteen years down the line, after a randomly stressful day of managing a new but not fate-of-the-world crisis, Auryn slumps onto that bed and is juuuuust drifting off to sleep when a fey pops out of the wall and begins blasting a trumpet to wake her up, because word reached the Dreaming of...

    ZEITGEIST Tizbiz Zeitgeist Campaign

Sorry for the delay in my response. I am thrilled to see several updates! I so appreciate this moment. It has nudged me to get back to writing something I was letting fall by the wayside, but that I want to see done, so I can give a story closure. So thank you.

    ZEITGEIST Cypherblade's Zeitgeist campaign

The somewhat unsatisfying answer would be that remove curse works on curses, not thoughtforms that have possessed you. Protection from Evil would have an effect, giving Xambria advantage on any new saves to resist, but it doesn't expel a possessing entity. Sijhen would just stay quiescent until...

    ZEITGEIST Cypherblade's Zeitgeist campaign

I'm amused by Pemberton casually bribing law enforcement with jewels from his hoard.
