    D&D 5E (2024) Cthulhu Confirmed!

The text specifically refers to it as a prisoner of the Dread domains...one that can only exert but a fraction of its capabilities. I'm not saying this is the same version from CoC, but is is a version of the character. You're right, it's not, but cultists and Eldritch gods are intrinsic to...

    D&D 5E (2024) Cthulhu Confirmed!

So far, here's what I've read around regarding Mythos influences found in some of the promos for the new book since announcement: Cthulhu: likely a weakened or chained version (confirmed) Great Race of Yith (Confirmed) Shoggoths (unconfirmed) Azathoth as a Lord of Dread, along with some...

Dungeons & Dragons: Warlock Video Game Announced by Invoke Studios

People are allowed to agree or disagree, like or dislike something based on their preferences, but that doesn't give you the right to speak in this way of and insult them because they disagree with you. Respect is a two-way street. I dislike Veilguard because it makes a mockery of the previous...

Dungeons & Dragons: Warlock Video Game Announced by Invoke Studios

We don't know; the fact that they show Black Tentacles--which is a GOOlock spell from 2014 rules--means that either they're taking creative liberties or the actual patron is unknown

Dungeons & Dragons: Warlock Video Game Announced by Invoke Studios

No, that's a separate game which is being done by the director of the Jedi Survivor games. Warlock is being done by the same studio that did DnD: Dark Alliance

Dungeons & Dragons: Warlock Video Game Announced by Invoke Studios

No custom character creation, since it's an action game. We might be able to customize appearance, but I feel the one shown in the trailer is what we get

Dungeons & Dragons: Warlock Video Game Announced by Invoke Studios

It's more open world action-adventure and not really a traditional RPG, according to the devs. I'd expect something more along the lines of GoW than Witcher.

Dungeons & Dragons: Warlock Video Game Announced by Invoke Studios

It would depend if the patron is the blade, then it's a hexblade; if not then its PotB. Though, like I said, I get more GOOlock vibes from the otherworldly elements in the trailer or Raven Queen (I know 2014 lore hexblade is associated with RQ, but this strikes me as more involved than that).

Dungeons & Dragons: Warlock Video Game Announced by Invoke Studios

If anything, Warlock players will be eating good provided the game turns out good

Dungeons & Dragons: Warlock Video Game Announced by Invoke Studios

Seems more like PotB weapon summon mechanic than hexblade, but there may be a mechanic where you choose your patron in the game To me it gave more GOOlock vibes than anything else

D&D 5E (2024) PAX WotC Dungeons and Dragons speculation thread.

Yep. We're all waiting for what's next? Is Dark Sun going to be announced? What's the next adventure book? Are we getting a Ravenloft supplement in style of the new Eberron book?

So on the nose with that name😂

    D&D 5E (2024) Forgotten Realms subclasses discussion.

It's almost like Ranger was built around Hunter's Mark...oh wait, it was. Winter Walker was actually well received during playtests and you actually get good returns for using HM. Hollow Warden follows a similar pattern on the UA

    D&D 5E (2024) Forgotten Realms subclasses discussion.

Yet I've already seen some in the web complain about how the Banneret lvl 3 & 7 features being on SR means it's weak because you're out of a subclass once used
