D&D (2024) Book of exalted deeds granted (possibly) spells and antimagic

I'm not that much into hard counters. Besides a wish to briefly adquire immunity against an antimagic effect (stress), could the eventual spells granted by the BoED take effect in an antimagic field or similar? Whats' your take? Thanks guys!

D&D (2024) AC stacking and bounded accuracy

Even a low CR monk type monster with its ability to negate advantage would be serious trouble to a solitary advanced explorer high level rogue. I don't think that's a bounded accuracy problem though. Some homebrewed changes to steady aim, it's all it would take.

D&D (2024) AC stacking and bounded accuracy

Do you think that Evasive footwork + Bait and Switch + Defensive duelist + Relentless would end up being a danger for bounded accuracy (+ any other combos not still discovered) or not? I haven't seen any changes in the way that bonuses stack in 5.24 so this got me worried. I suppose altering all...

Well, Larian is based in Belgium. So, probably, beer.

    D&D 5E Elusive class feature

Problem with continuous advantaged sneak attack is also double opportunity for nasty-nasty crit. Still, if neither of you think that may be unbalanced, I suppose I'd allow it. Dont want to be a party breaker

    D&D 5E Elusive class feature

My issue is weird combos and players wasting actions. Standard issues with high level play though.

    D&D 5E Elusive class feature

Well, I'd prefer the ability to sneak attack consistently over two more rogue levels, YMMV. Still only a problem to very high level play.

    D&D 5E Elusive class feature

Nasty combo for a strength based rogue, though limited to very high level play.

    D&D 5E Elusive class feature

Well the other abilities are also very specific. Imagine a barbarian 2/rogue 18, can he reckless attack forever without advantaged retaliation? Edited for clarity

    D&D 5E Elusive class feature

How do you think the elusive class feature awarded to the rogue interact with other feats, spells, abilities and class features such as reckless attack, feinting, true strike, ...? Basically, elusive makes any attack against you unable to benefit from advantage unless incapacitated, while those...

Abilities Capped at 20 Won't Work

Yep, I'm all for a 20 cap. It's good for flattening the math and it keeps settings reasonable. Your fighter-general may have a 16 int while your great wizard of the king's court will be 19 or 20 int, significantly more intelligent, but in the same league. I can't even imagine what a 30 in...

    Class Balance - why?

Also hero points give a good chance to non-magical classes to face enemy casters. Hehe some antihero points to main antagonists may work too.

    What Has To Be Save-Or-Die?

Definitely, if you want to reintroduce save or die rolls you need some mitigating factor and some tactics tossed into it, like hero points or something to that effect. Ideally, getting over a combat encounter should be a factor of the power level of the PCs, their tactic abilities and luck, in...

What feats need to be added to the game?

Feats that let characters that have their two high ability scores in the same group (str-con, int-dex, char-wis) apply one of those ability score to other defenses than the habitual (ie str to reflex or int to will) ;)

    Inferlock Curse loop?

If we are going to take everything literal, as the OP tries to do with the concept "enemy", then you can't be near yourself because you are yourself and must occupy the same space, if that makes sense ;).
