Perhaps like The One Ring supplements,the D&D series of books will follow the same style.
The supplements for The One Ring focused a lot on the setting and containing minimal mechanics.( at least from what i have seen/read).

Very nice. I'll be buying the book wednesday so i'll be able to read it. Ravenloft,you just can't go wrong. Hopefully WOTC releases a barovia campaign book like scag.It would be great to run ravenloft again.
Although i have not purchased Curse of Strahd yet,some of those maps seem very similar to what was in Expedition to castle ravenloft from 3.5 (still sweet though)
Bounded Accuracy works very well in my opinion.
A low level character can hit a high CR creature just as a low CR creature can hit a high level character.
