    D&D 5E Cavalier Build Help

I also want to add that if you think you get far (level 15 cavalier), then shield master may not be that good since it competes with the ferocious charger.

    D&D 5E Cavalier Build Help

My worry with the cavalier, having so many mechanics that makes it sticky, is that it is not tanky enough. Nothing compared to a raging barbarian, a paladins healing, or even some life clerics. If one got the option, then maybe multiclassing barbarian (bear barbarian) may be an option. It...

D&D 5E Xanathar's "War Magic" too strong for multiclassing?

How would this barbarian compare to a barbarian with a dip in fighter, either champion (extra crit), or maybe even battlemaster? Without making a long post, I'd argue that is is just as good, if not better than dipping two level of wizard.

D&D 5E Xanathar's "War Magic" too strong for multiclassing?

Can you give a level 10 build where going 2 levels of wizard (war magic) for this is worth it? From what I see it is strong, but not out of touch with other multiclass dips.

    Cultural appropriation in gaming

To see this racist and poisonous term being discussed in dungeons and dragons is a really depressing sight :erm:

D&D 5E [GUIDE] The Art of War: A Fighter Guide

Quick questions concerning some of the UA features. Does the bonus AC from one of your maneuvers as a scout, apply only to that single attack, or does it apply for the whole round. Some monster have multiattack and stuff. Secondly. The tunnel fighter feature for moving within your reach, is not...

D&D 5E [GUIDE] The Art of War: A Fighter Guide

Will this guide get an update? A lot of new stuff has been added, like Purple Dragon Knight, not to mention some Unearthed Arcane Articles with new archetypes such as Scout. Would be nice to hear what an "expert" thinks about it. Having said that, my personal opinion on the scout is that it is...

D&D 5E [GUIDE] The Art of War: A Fighter Guide

No thoughts on the new Purple Dragon Knight...? Well here is mine: It starts out bad compared to the other options. Rallying Cry is just decent, and nothing more than that. Both Battle Master and Eldritch Knight got better features. Royal Envy at level 7 is nice fluff, and I can imagine some...

D&D 5E [GUIDE] Celestial Link Evoking Radiance Into Creation - CLERIC guide

Quick question. As indicated by the guide, Disciple of Life do increase the healing of each goodberry, but how does blessed healer synergy with goodberry? Will each berry your allies take, heal you for hit points too? Anyway. You do say that Disciple of Life feature (life domain) is really good...

D&D 5E [GUIDE] Celestial Link Evoking Radiance Into Creation - CLERIC guide

Staying within the same theme as my previous post. I was figuring about making a Cleric, and this is how it goes: Hill Dwarf: Starting stats after racials: Str 10 Dex 14 Con 17 Int 8 Wis 16 Cha 8 Level 1: Fighter 1: Fighting Style: Defense Level 2: Cleric 1/Fighter 1: Nature Domain: Cantrip...

D&D 5E [GUIDE] Celestial Link Evoking Radiance Into Creation - CLERIC guide

With those new cantrips, namely Booming Blade and Green-flame blade, you have a few good options that should be mentioned. For example I could very well imagine a cleric of Nature domain, or even Life, multiclass/dip into a warlock to get those cantrips. Maybe even three levels of fighter...

D&D 5E The Guides have not been updated with the SCAG.

I am just excitingly waiting for someone more knowledgeable than me, giving their opinions on some of the new stuff in SCAG.

D&D 5E [GUIDE] Celestial Link Evoking Radiance Into Creation - CLERIC guide

Isn't the rating of Arcane domain a little harsh? It is purple, yet if you look at what you have given individual features, then it seems a little better. I would personally rate it blue. The wizards cantrips, like booming blade or green flame blade does well for a cleric who only have a single...

D&D 5E Which feat would you take

I voted GWM, but if I had the option of Inspiring Leader or Polearm Master, I would have voted one of those.

D&D 5E 5e Paladin: Inspiring Leadership versus Polearm Master?

Inspiring Leader is an amazing feat, and also cool, especially for a paladin. However, for many it isn't that "cool" because it is not that direct or fancy. It is passive, and mostly gives benefits to your allies, instead of you. I mean, Inspiring Leader is like +2 to con for several creatures...
