I had the same idea I just finished picking up a bunch of GURPS books to play some fantasy. I decided not to follow D&D 4 and look into other systems. I'm really excited to start reading my books.

How How bout for those who follow the christian belief we have a fast for him? Prayer is very good as many believe but I also believe that a fast, particularly by a group of people, has surprising power. I plan on this and invite others to as well.

I Love 2e! I love 2e. It's what I play to this day. I love specialty priests, specialist wizards, druids, fighters, some kits. It lets us play the game we want. Mostly through familiarity but also it lets us focus on the game and not on what our characters can do.
