The description in the PHB is very vague. From what I see, you throw the bolas, and if you hit they're tripped? Wouldn't it be a pain in the butt to get a bolas off of you (an Escape Artist or Strength check)?

Anyone know what a Ghost Spike looks like? Also, if you enchant one side of a double weapon and the other side is broken off, is the other blade still considered magical?
