D&D 5E You know what? I'm frustrated at how long 5e is gonna take.

I agree with this. I have a bad feeling that the open playtest we keep hoping for won't be as open as people think. Still too early to get excited by a edition change. I suppose I will check back in a year.

D&D 5E Has 5E Restored or Diminished Your Faith in WotC?

Neither. The game won't be released till sometime next year, so its hard to for me to gain or lose faith for WOTC.

After DDXP, how are you feeling about D&En?

Meh, but slightly positive. Going to wait for some transcripts from playtesting or the open playtest itself. Still got a whole year before even we will see the game sold, so no rush.

    Reclaim the name of Paladin!

If I had to rewrite the paladin class, I would go back to its origins in the King Arthur and Charlemagne stories. While they were religious, they were not part of the church. They would be Paragons of Knighthood and landed nobility, and if I had my way, those would include the Green Knight and...

Seminar Transcript - Reimagining Skills and Ability Scores

If you mean Barbarian as a theme, then I agree with you. But if you mean Barbarian as a class, while I can see different class builds using separate pirmary abilities, I am not convinced that worked out the way they wanted it too in 4E.

D&D 5E Should classes retain traditional alignment restrictions in 5E?

Never liked alignment restrictions. I remember reading some of the old AD&D source books and finding that even TSR didn't follow some of their alignment restrictions. I figure that is one thing from the past editions that can stay buried.

Seminar Transcript - Reimagining Skills and Ability Scores

Amazing, the one seminar I wasn't really interested in turned out to have the info I was hoping to get out of DDXP. I like what I see personally. From my perspective, it looks like it will make my games faster and easier to use. Not sure about racial penalties, if nothing else we shouldn't be...

    Tweet gleanings

Well, no reason for me to get it then. To be fair, I am not much a Dark Elf fan, so I was going to wait to see what the crunch was before purchasing, much like Neverwinter.

Seminar Transcript - Upcoming Products for 2012

This is was the seminar I was most looking forward to, and I am so underwhelmed. The only thing that has got me excited is the Ravenloft stuff for DDI, and it was only a very small tease. Kinda interested in the Ed Greenwood book, but that is so far out that I can't get worked up about it. All...

WotC to Release 1st Edition Premium Core Rulebooks Reprints

Just when the 5ed talk started getting really nasty, WOTC announces this. Well played Wizards, well played.

    dwarf as a class

It would be interesting to see the return of the racial classes, but I am not totally convinced they would go that route or its a good one to take. When they introduce new races in 5ed ( like my beloved Vryloka) will they have to create a separate Vryloka class for simple choices or just...

How do you feel about the future of D&D after the official announcements?

Neutral. I am quite happy with 4th edition, but will wait and see what they do with 5th before writing it off.

D&D 4E Do you really want Greyhawk and Dragonlance for 4e

I have never played Greyhawk and I have read some of the Dragonlance novels. I would love to see a 4th edition reboot of these settings much like what they did with Dark Sun.
