It's not that simple. The rule (p. 82) works as follows. If you reach exactly 0 hit points, you're only unconscious, and dying. (You lose 1 hit point per round after that until you reach −10 hit points and really die, or until someone spends a round tending to you, in which case you stop losing...

Try GURPS Dungeon Fantasy. It's a lot of templates and procedures to make GURPS easy to use with the dungeon adventuring experience.

Don't be silly! The offspring of a human and a halfling would obviously be a three-quarterling.

While I can imagine those human-looking half-orcs keeping a low profile, half-ogres obviously can't do that. Where they don't blend it, they probably use intimidation instead. "I don' care if I ain't got no tie. Yer gonna let me eat here, or I'm gonna pound yer head in."

Gary, When you are preparing a town for your own refereeing (as opposed to preparing one for publication), how do you organize your notes? I've seen a number of techniques, including detailing individual buildings, detailing sections or neighborhoods of the town as if they were dungeon rooms...

No. No one has ever done anything cool with the Cave of the Unknown. ;)

It's not a parody at all. It's a close translation of the current D&D rules into proper GURPS templates.
