I have no problems with Squats. I'm pretty young and I never played 40k when there actually were Squats so they don't come to mind. *edits the first post*
As for Credit checks, make your rolls under "NonOmnisMoriar" on Invisible Castle and be sure to note your character's name and...
It is the 41st millennium. For more than a hundred centuries the Emperor has sat immobile on the Golden Throne of Earth. He is the master of mankind by the will of the gods, and master of a million worlds by the might of his inexhaustible armies. He is a rotting carcass writhing invisibly with...

I have returned. (I got a new wireless router that was a pain to install, and I couldn't really do much inbetween classes at school.) The game shall be d20-40k.
I'll get a recruitment thread/post ready to go for tomorrow. :uhoh: Today. I'll type it up now and post it in the morning. I'll...
Hi everyone, I haven´t been here for very long, but I was browsing this forum (looking for a game) and I realized there was a serious lack of ´em. I´m totally willing to run one of:
A d20 Warhammer 40K game based on Skrittiblak´s rules. Likely it would involve a small group of mercenaries hired...
The title does give a general explanation of the situation. Our group started a new campaign (Homebrew everything) and one of the player's characters is a cleric of the god of lust/beauty/something. The player is funny, and his (faked) lack of maturity is generally amusing. I jokingly asked if I...
Disclaimer: I haven´t played MTG in years.
If I remember correctly they are currently in Ninth Edition. So if you are interested in learning how things work now a sixth edition set isn´t really the way to go. MTG seems to be a hit and miss thing.
I liked it a while ago, but then I found D&D...
I just graduated from High School this June, and I have never had a problem with telling anyone I play RPGs. Mind you, everyone already knows I'm a huge nerd. :D I've never really had a negative reaction to telling anyone I play D&D. I've never gotten the "Ohmigod Satanic!" response. I mean...
This thread is before my time, but I read through a sizeable amount before it went terribly off-topic. Did we ever come to a consensus on how 'pathetic' gamers are?
Google it.
No, seriously. Search for "[Game title] wallpapers" and you'll get a ton of hits. Look for a trusted source like Gamershell or IGN and enjoy!
IMC I folded Climb, Jump and Swim into an "Athletics" skill. This is because I have never had a player choose any of these. Ever. It's a weak reason to justify an "Athletics" skill, but I was wondering if anyone else ran into the same problem as me.
I bought a set of seven dice when I started playing D&D four years ago. They are the only set I have ever owned, and they have quite the history. "Don't even let your dice touch Void's dice, they'll drain the luck right out!"
But I recently lost them :( I am diceless until I can stop by the FLGS.
Greatswords?
How would one carry a greatsword? What about those using the Monkey Grip feat to carry larger weapons?
EDIT:
What I meant was: "I've heard that carrying a sword over your back is a bad idea because you expose too much of your arm when drawing it."
