    D&D 5E (2014) Dungeon Master's Guild: The Long Term

I do not think "homebrew" means what you think it means. People have and will continue to create their own homebrew cammpaigns with or without the DMS Guild. If you mean publishing on the DMG then I highly doubt that. There is no shortage of content creators for D&D.

    D&D 5E (2014) Dungeon Master's Guild: The Long Term

So they provide a marketplace and permission to use all the FR source material available prior to which you were asking to get sued for IP violation and this is going to stagnate content creation? Previously it was illegal to do so, now it is. This screams sour grapes. Seriously, get over it...

    D&D 5E (2014) Dungeon Master's Guild: The Long Term

Except that's completely wrong. With DMG authors are given free reign and complete license to use any and all FR/5E materiel. That is not true of OGL/SRD. So your free exchange of ideas wouldn't happen in any case. We're being given license to create anything we want with their proprietary...

D&D 5E (2014) Any guides on making adventures?

If you dig around, you can find all the old writing your first adventure columns on the archived WOTC D&D site by Chris Perkins.

D&D 5E (2014) Tell me about AL modules

Overall they're not bad, however they would need to be updated to the actual 5E ruleset as a lot of the stuff was from the NEXT trial and aren't quite the same.

D&D 5E (2014) DM's Guild: What caught your eye, and why did you buy it?

I can do the pdf typesetting for you as long as I can cut and paste / drag and drop into fields and you're not throwing hundreds of pages of text/images at me. If it's the basic stuff like their white template then that's dead simple. If it's more module/campaign like with full artwork, chapter...

    D&D 5E (2014) DM's Guild - Adventure Format: one shot or longer

Over the weekend I spent a considerable chunk of time thinking about one shot adventures that are over and done with in a night and it's actually more difficult than a multi-evening adventure. Unless it's a pure throw combat at the PCs deal, it's hard to tell any sort of story in one night...

Sword Coast Legends To Introduce RAGE OF DEMONS and Tile Based Editor

Except their combat is gang up and whack-a-mole instead of tactical/strategic.

Sword Coast Legends To Introduce RAGE OF DEMONS and Tile Based Editor

Talk is cheap which is what got them into this unholy mess in the first place. We'll see if they pull it off.

SCL: Stumbled coming out of the gate or simply fallen on it's face?

question: Now for someone who plays D&D, this is such an in deep tool set. Explain how they can literally take their campaign from a tabletop pen and paper into this digitally digital game? "One of the things I put to the designers when we framed this all up for them was, I want you to take...

D&D 5E (2014) Refusing To Heal Party Members?

    1. D&D has been focusing on fun and making players all feel powerful and the heroes in their own epic. Everyone should play what they want to play. 2. Everyone has Hit Dice, use them as required. Healing in this edition is such a joke that no dedicated healer is required. Useful, and desirable...

My Sword Coast Legends First Impressions

When moving either box your characters and then click to move, or click 1 PC and then hit T. The advantage of double-clicking a PC is that the camera will now follow them instead of having to WASD around. Prepare for a lot of disappointment. I spent all weekend with the DM tools and there are...
