Sir Ishmael makes a final check upon the security of Courage's barding and the straps of his own armor. Courage would be useful as they went down, as the warpony's keen nose would detect enemies almost as easily as Cirus could.

He leaves his shield loosened though, so that it won't interfere with his stealth through the woods. His small size would help greatly here, but as a Deep Halfling, he wasn't as lightfooted as his Harfoot cousins. In the underground chambers of the monestary, at least, he had his Darkvision and his Stonecunning.

He was like a tinier dwarf. The thought brought a grin to his face whic disappeared after a few moments of dwelling.

"I am ready and waiting"

OK, my Scanner is working (finally). thanks for being patient, folks.

Your group is hiding in scrub between A-B and 14-18.
Your view from the hills established the following.
There is a wall some 15' tall surrounding the entire compound.
At the rear (closest to you), there is an outdoor walkway, a collinade of sorts. The wall facing this is lined with slitted windows perhaps a foot and a half wide. These either open or shuttered (about 50% for either), though plenty are open.
Aranel, Kirin and Sir Ishmael (and Whitefang)can get through them without a problem, anyone else will need a <DC 10> Escape Artist Check.
There are 3 Towers, the one that is closest to the rear (with the cool 'ghost' of a larger self, yeah yeah...I see it :D ) is perhaps 40 feet high, with a peaked roof. Non guards or lookouts are in evidence and Kirin thinks that it is most likely a Bell-Tower.
The other two Towers are shorter, perhaps 30'. The Roofs of the various structures are peaked as well, with a fairly easy grade (not too difficult to climb about on the roof).
Doors are marked, although they are not all visable from your vantage point.

No Monks or ferals are visable anywhere, nor are there any bodies in sight.

[I think the size of that map is scaring people from posting, Uriel. :D]

When it's go time, Rurik will use his innate Dwarven abilities with stone to scale
the wall with an open window closest to him. Before going up to the level of the
murder hole, Rurik will Listen to see if he can tell if the room is unoccupied
before trying his Escape Artist check (untrained).

[C'mon, don't the dwarves get at least a bonus to get in that window? Where's
the love? :)]

When it's time to go, Sturm will just use his Dwarven stone-cutting prowess to knock around and find a nice weak point'n bash.

Assuming nobody's got any craftier ideas, at least.

(Oh, and I just have to say what a kick I get out of these scanned maps every time... Eraser marks and everything! Just makes it feel, well, like D&D. :) )

Telerin will wait and see if the Dwarves can break a hole, and try to get in that way. If that doesn't work he'll atempt the Escape Artist check to get in.

((And if that doesn't work he'll cry!))

OoC: I think the love is in all of the ale that they drink...they aren't medium sized for nothing...:D "Get In Me Belleh!"

Just so I am clear on the wall: It is a stone/stucco wall 15' tall. Once over, there is a 5' wide walkway all around. Dropping (or using watever ladders/stairs you see) down, you will be in a narrow grassy walkway near the back wall (closest to you).
This is actually 10' wide, though it looks like 5', because the wall-walkway is above it.
The window slits are at ground level, though there are some on a second level as well. (Pretty much the same spacing as marked).

IC:Rurik and Aranel (I assume she is climbing over) scale the wall, as well as Sturm (sinceyou were posting some sort of action, I'm dragging you along.

It is a simple enough matter to reach the top, where there seem to be no guards.
The early morning chill is bracing and Sturm and Rurik quickly lift an access ladder up-and-over the wall so that Telerin and Kirin and Ishmael can ascend. Telerin retirves a harness that he carries for such difficult situations, fixing it about Whiteanf and away he goes, hoisted up by Sturm. (Ok, DM liscense, but it looks cool and I figure that a Druid would have a few such things for these situations, mine always do).

OoC:So, on the wall, you can descend as mentioned, or move along the wall looking for acces on the second floor. There are several places where you cound reach a wnidon or the Towers...

Aranel walked along the ede of the wall quite easily, watching for a place to get in. Maybe once she was in there was a way to sneak down and open a door or something...

(Spot/Balance...whatever else ^^; )

Rurik walked along the wall with Aranel, looking for a second-floor entrance. Upon coming to the first entrance, he listened for occupants.
