M2: The Search for Goblin HQ

Somac fires his shortbow at the larger goblinoid who appeared on the South wall, embedding his arrow in its chest. Irene climbs the rest of the way up the wall, where she is able to leap down into the room.
Ashnar, with Nurlan's assistance, manages to finally climb all the way out of the water.
Tenebryn begins to clamber up to the battlements, but looses his footing on the stones, and makes no progress.
The larger goblin has a bow readied, but does not yet use it. He pauses for a moment, looking over the scene, then points at Tenebryn, and says in goblin:

The two other goblins shoot at Tenebryn as he climbs (he looses his dex bonus while climbing), but both miss.
Charlyn again fails to make any headway up the loose damp rocks.
The goblins are slightly out of range of Tor's chain. He tries to climb higher to the battlements, but also stumbles and makes no headway.
Rinaldo aims his crossbow at the lone goblin to the north. He releases his shaft. It burries itself in the goblin's neck, and it falls back, gurgling.

Ashnar gives a quick thanks to Nurlan for his aid, then readies himself for a spell.
(OOC - if I didn't get to cast the mage armor yet, Ashnar will cast it now, and try to get in a position to fire a ray of frost [25 ft. range] next round at either b, or a g that is not in melee. If the mage armor is in effect already, he'll maneuver, and then cast the ray.)

Once Ashnar is on terra firma, Nurlan drops the pole and draws his newfound crossbow and bolts. He'll shoot at whatever goblins he has in his line of sight; if there are more than one who are approximately equally exposed, he'll give first priority to one that's already been wounded. Otherwise, attack the closest.
His song is starting to get repetitive (it doesn't have as many verses as the one he was using to inspire courage in M1), but he keeps it up.

"Press the attack, press the attack! We're beating them! Take out the leader on the south wall and we're in!"
OOC: Somac will fire his shortbow at the larger goblin on the south wall. If he has already been taken out, he will target one of the others. If they're all fallen, he will begin to climb up into the room.

Somac targets the only goblin still visible, the one on the south wall. His arrow flies wide.
Irene begins casting her sleep spell on the goblin on the south wall, suspecting the larger goblinoid might still be in range.
Ashnar, now on dry land, casts his mage armor. Nurlan draws and loads his new heavy crossbow.
On the south wall, the goblin shoots again at Tenebryn, but the shaft deflects off his faintly glimmering armor. The larger goblinoid, which several party members have now recognized as a hobgoblin, comes back up beside the goblin. His large recurved bow is drawn back. He releases his shaft at Nurlan, which strikes, tearing through his leather armor painfully. (5 hps dmg)
Charlyn has better luck now, as he and Tenebryn clamber up the slope about 8 feet. Rinaldo whirls, reloads and shoots at the bugbear. His bolt imbeds in the creature's thigh. (6 pts)
Tor continues climbing up the East wall, having to release his grip on his chain to do so. Rinaldo having slain the goblin above him, Tor manages to surmount the battlement without undue danger. However, meeting his eye as he clambers to his feet are two charging figures, a goblin and hobgoblin. (Only about 10 feet away.)
