Bio Freaks: What's This?

In the land of Oz we call them Balmain Bugs or Morten Bay Bugs. They taste something like a cross between a prawn(big shrimp) and a lobster, very nice with lemon, spiced salt and a touch of garlic butter.

(Homer voice)-Mmmmmmmmmm unknown aquatic life form gaaaammmmpppphhh

Bio Freak to the answer:

Like demiurge said, that's an isopod. Its scientific name its Bathynomus giganteus and it is the largests of isopods, living in the Gulf of Mexico at considerable depths where light is dim.

He he he. Bless my innate Creature Lore modifiers :)
(/me hides zoology book before enworlders find out)

Wait; so are pill"bugs" actually crustaceans too, then? If so, I certainly never knew that. I figgered they were some kind of freaky non-insectoid arthropod, but never guessed they were crustaceans.

Dont feel bad, I did not know that pill bugs were crustaceans until I took Biology last school year. :)

This is Bio Freaks

In response to the title, "bio freaks, what's this?".
Bio Freaks is a mediocre 3d fighting game released a few years ago for the Nintendo 64. Included is a picture of the cover art. I hope that answers your question...
As far as the creature in the picture, it looks to be some sort of metroid... Whoever takes care of that thing should watch out, they have been known to suck all the life out of people at random.

I don't feel bad; I took Biology almost 20 years ago, and we didn't talk about pillbugs.

I'm actually a wee bit of a bio freak myself, but crustaceans have never really captured my interest too much. Ask me about dinosaurs sometime, though, or "therapsids" and Tertiary mammals...
