Tales of Fablecraft?

I wasn’t sure whether to put this here or somewhere else - it almost belongs in VTT discussions. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone had tried this?

(For those who watch such things, I saw an ad on blumineck’s YT.)

ToFC seems to be basically a virtual tabletop platform but for only one game (their proprietary system, based on d6s) and with pictures, character designs, voiceover work, and a lot of other support for their own adventures. It seems to be a lot quicker to run than many other TTRPGs or VTTs and less work for the GM, so pretty good for a pickup game if you’re taking a break or someone can’t make it to your online session. And it’s free.

It does look pretty fun, but I was wondering if anyone had tried it yet and what they thought?

I haven't. My understanding was that they were trying to build a TTRPG experience that runs off of consoles and the internet. It's an interesting idea. Since they're basically creating a category, we'll see how much of an audience there is for it.

Yes, that seems like a good way of looking at it. It feels like TTRPG for people who are too busy or tired to meet up for more than an hour or two and who would like having graphics, sound effects, voiceover work etc. It might suit our group well, though we do all mostly have work laptops so maybe we might not have the devices to play.
