Sensing that Luthiel is very badly hurt, Jasper begins shouting out in a very foreign language and waving his arms. As he stops speaking, he points his finger in the direction of Luthiel and from his fingertips shoots a bright blue light, which impacts the weasel on Luthiel's leg.

The magical energy flies from Jasper's fingertips and slams into the crazed rodent. Suddenly stunned, it looses its hold on the elf, but it shakes its body and bares its teeth again, still ready for more.

OOC: Frozen weasel: has taken 2 damage. "Missiled" weasel, 2 damage.

Luthiel Faradar Elven Rogue1

Luthiel attempts to skewer the foe that was so recently removed from his leg. If he connects and kills it, he will step away from the frozen weasel, up to thirty feet away if there is that much clear space. If he fails to kill the weasel, he will stay put and concentrate on keeping his defense intact.

Luthiel stabs at the weasel but misses terribly, his torn leg betraying him. He luckily doesn't completely lose his balance and manages to back up a few steps, his quivering rapier held defensively out in front of him.

The frozen weasel moves towards Garrit, foam spurting out between its bared fangs. It leaps at the armored man, but his armor easily deflects the little creature's teeth. Stunned for a moment, the already hurt weasel regains its senses.

OOC: I had Luthiel make a fighting defensively attack (-4 to attack, +2 to AC) and move back several feet into the woods.

Garrit's turn.

Garrit, seeing his friends withdrawing a bit, steps so that his body is between the weasels and his companions and swings at the weasel directly in front of him.

Garrit's sword cleaves right through the unfortunate weasel's frosty form. It lays in two pieces at the man's feet, hardly bleeding at all, its very blood frozen by Jasper's spell. The other weasel advances on Garrit, its closest target, but does not attack. It seems unfazed by the deaths of its companions. If anything, it has grown even more rabid.

Jasper's turn.

Jasper reloads the crossbow, takes aim, and once again, takes aim on the weasel that had been latched onto Luthiel. With a steady hand, Jasper releases the bolt at his target.

Jasper's bolt pierces right through the unfortunate weasel's body. It collapses, bleeding slowly.

Combat over.

OOG: My mistake, scout (and Animus), but combat is over, so it's moot.

OOC: no prob, I was just wondering for my next attack, which never happened so I'm happy

IC:
Luthiel staggers towards the path back to the camp, obviously in much pain. His face is set in a grimace. He holds his rapier out before him as he walks, then begins to use it as a crutch. He is one unhappy elf.
