Yep.

Last year, I was *finally* able to login and register a little after 7pm.

They are using perl and their error checking sucks. Come-on guys, look into CGI::Carp!

I know because I am doing a perl code review right now.

Okay, an hour of clicking "Add to Cart" and all the system can muster is "Server is busy. Please try again later." Bleah.

I'm just going to hope that most of my events are "unpopular" enough (not a single D&D game among them, and only one d20) that I can just register for them later tonight. As for the choice events, I'll just do what I saw lots of other people do last year if need be: show up with a generic ticket and wait for no-shows. If I can't get it, I can at least watch, which is worth it for some of the games.

I wonder how many years in a row this is going to happen?
