Adventure:-- LPNN (Manzanita Judging)

Juliana 6/11 HP

Juliana would prefer to be on the outside, ready to fight in melee (I think swapping her and Almayce works to accomplish this and takes Almayce out of melee, and means she's not alone on a front line either).

Her intent, is to take a defensive stance (+2 to AC, -4 to hit if it ever comes up, so net AC 20), and preprair a trip attack for the rat leader should he close (-2 touch attack, then
+6 opposed str or dex check to trip)

If for some reason she can't get to a front line, she will use her bow and fire at a ratman, hoping to detur it (+1 to hit, 1d8 damage, x3 crit).

"Almayce, if you could spare another heal, I would appreciate it. I hope to stand and fight as long as I can, and I'm still wounded from before."

OOC: Chance of actions then, though I suppose this could have been done earlier, but that's a DM call. The place swap is okay by me.

Almayce uses another charge from his wand, and heals Juliana 3 points.

"'Thank you" Juliana says.

OOC: Yeah, it wasn't important till we got to the hill, because it would have slowed us down, but we've had time.

(OOC: Oh dear, there's three. Ah well Zaeryl futilely shoots his crossbow at a nonleader, figuring his miniscule chance to hit (+0 1d8) is higher for the nonleader.)

Razh grumbles something unintelligible under his breath, probably a dwarven curse or the like. Then he picks up his axes, rearranges his armor, and moves to the front- or tries to. The area of cover is so small, he's somewhat stuck where he is. Quietly, in a gruff whisper he says, "Oi, Hallindor, sir, might Ah suggest ye move yerself back an' let me take the front?"

OOC: I find it interesting that our 2nd level fighter-type, with the most HP, is wedged in the middle of the rocks, between about 2 people on either side. =P

As I said, I sprinkled in the PC's randomly. Move them wherever you want before "action" begins.

There was plenty of time to heal Juliana pre-action -- so that was done sometime in the previous hour, no problem.

Just to clarify, is Raz to the front facing RL or R1,R2 (which side?).

Others too, which Rat menace are you interested in facing? Z has a preference for R1, R2 as stated...

Also: WHAT LIGHTING SOURCE IS in USE, WHO HAS IT, ARE THERE MULTIPLE, ETC.

Lighting sources - place multiple torches on the ground near the entrances, at least that's what I suggest. Vargo is in the right place, would like to keep Huln under cover.

Suggested tactic, mob the "big boss" and stomp him into the ground, as per my earlier suggestion.

Ok review the updated placement graphic.

Have additionally put 4 torches in the ground as Vargo suggested, lighting now is much better and probably not an issue. They are represented by stupid red rectangles.

Note that Z and Almayce are "buried" a bit within, but are planning to shoot at enemies, probably through soft cover. If you want Z and Almayce more exposed, thus liable to get a better shot off, let me know, else they will stay where they are.

Vargo: what are you, Huln planning on doing should, well, something like melee occur in the next few seconds?

*also waiting on Ogrin*
