What would you pay for a custom dog coat?

How much more would you pay for a custom fitted dog coat?

  • Less - its homemade and probably lower quality.

A coat made of dog? Well, it's not doghide or leather but this place will make you dog yarn and items made of dog yarn (or cat yarn). I suppose they could even produce a woolen dog coat from the dog's own yarn or make you a cardigan from your favorite pooch or kitty's fur. They'll even make a cat mousie from your cat's fur. Freaky, no?

I don't think harvesting the shed fur from dogs and cats violates the animal rights legislation frankthedm mentioned, but it might depend on how your local law is written.

I'd expect to pay up to 10 dollars extra; 5 dollars extra would in my estimation be a discount! (based on prevailing prices in pet accesories)

While searching for a saint-like black dog, i found an add that almost looked like an add for puppy hair coats. BTW Newfoundlans are adorable, at least in my book. It is like crossing a saint with a black or brown bear

paging Ms. Deville....

I can't see buying a coat for a dog that already has a natural coat. If the climate is too cold for the dog to handle maybe you should rethink your dog choice.

It wouldn't matter what I spend, the dogs would have shredded them within 10 minutes (5 if they worked together).

Of course, I prefer larger breed dogs so coats for them tend to be more expensive than for the miniature and small breeds.
