The shape takes a few short steps into a new position, and Gur and Banion take their shots. It almost seems as if Gur's attack should hit, but the arrow bounces off the shape. Apparently, it is at least lightly armored. Banion's mindblade is far off the mark, on the other hand. The figure then takes its own shot at Banion, which glances off his armor.

Gur takes two more shots, which both miss. Banion and Beamer move along and take their further shots (does Banion still want to ready a throw, or actually perform it now?). Despite the darkness, Beamer manages to hit the shape, and the grunt it lets out suggests that the hit caused a wound, as well.

Azaroth enters the corridor beneath the left wall. It appears to be entirely empty. Far south, the corridor predictably turns east. In the north, it appears as though the corridor has collapsed.

(It was definitely no melee attack. ;) From what you've seen, it seems to be a crossbow)
Banion's mind-blade rushes over the courtyard, but fails to connect with anything before dissipating.

Azaroth will walk towards where the collapsed section is. Is there any sort of exit out to the courtyard from here? If not... Azaroth will follow the corridor south. Keeping his eyes peeled for any possible windows where the enemy could've gotten access to the wall.

Banion winces as he misses again, knowing the enemy will likely strike again before he can throw once more. ooc: Waiting to see what the bad guys do before posting my next action.

(I'm not entirely sure why I put his actions as the first ones, seeing you have to react to them... )

The shape appears to reload, and then takes another shot, this time at Beamer, but the bolt flies far into the darkness.
