Name that Monster!

Finster

First Post
I am developing a new monster for my homebrew setting, but I am having trouble coming up with a name. Please help!

The creatures are communal (they always hang out in "squads"), are blind/ have blindsight, and are from deep underground on an alternate prime material plane. They are strong and warlike.

I made a list of words that go with them to help me with the concept drawings:

1)Srong
2)Bulky
3)Blades and Axes
4)Mayan/Asian
5)Ancient/Rusty/Corroded
6)Iron and Bronze

I want to stay away from names of monsters that are already being used (I initially used Mogg, but I think that has been used before, and sounds like Maug).

If you can come up with a name that sounds like the creature looks, I would be thrilled.

Thank you EnWorld in advance :)

PS I am currently coloring this, so please excuse the mess.

Mogg is a type of goblin in Magic: The Gathering......Maug is a sentient construct from Acheron in D&D.....

I'd suggest Maklachka, Urkatchka, Malkar, Urushtec, or Rayazumal. Or something else that vaguely evokes a Mayan/Aztec/Incan sort of vibe when spoken. That'd be cool.

Ashaa'ning'ru, or Faa'sung-lao, sound kinda Asian to me, as something that might work. I generally just eyeball names and come up with something that kinda looks or sounds right, since I'm no linguist or foreign culture/history expert. *shrug*

Blind Bastard

Gomogg ("Goblin Mogg")

Grimlunk ("Grimlock Lunk")

Grimlord ("Grimlock Lord")

Goblock ("Goblin Grimlock")

Steel Predator

That's all I got. :)

OOOOH...Thanks folks!

These are all great ideas! So far I like The Grym. They can be called by their weapon of choice: Grym-Blades, Grym-Axes, Grym-Clubs etc. It's mysterious and yet descriptive.

I will be posting the final pic, and some other concept sketches for them, in the Art forum (probably later this weekend), and re-titling it appropriatley.

Thank you all so much!

Grym - too easily mispronounced as Grime

If you want some Mayan words try
Noxib means 'Big Man'
Maak means 'man'
Nohoch-kaan means 'Big Legs'
Tal means'to Beat'
dzuuy means 'hard'
luum means 'earth'
Aktun means 'underneath'
