I've seen both, as well as bovine face and more humanoid face.

I don't think it matters as much as having strong BO and awsomely large sword or battleaxe! ;)

This minotaur has feet inspired by the Dragonlance ones. If one wants more bovine feet, they just alk on their "toes".

I think it depends on what type of minotaur you're going for. If you just want the big, bad monster in a D&D game, go with hooves. If you're playing Dragonlance, you'll want to go with feet ending with hoof-like toes since they're mariners, and they have to deal with rigging and wet decks. Hooves wouldn't allow them to keep their balance.

In the upcoming Races of Ansalon book for Dragonlance, we're going to be examining the hoof/foot thing a bit closer. The answer may surprise some people.

Love that minotaur pic, Klaus. I also like the compromise of them being able to stand on feet or on their hoof-toes.

IMG I use both. Playing up on the punishment of the gods angle, they are a male only race. The first one sold it's soul to the demon lord that resembled itself for the ability to reproduce. The race can breed with Humaniods and bovine animals, the legs of the offspring resemble the mother's.
