Cludge Slatefist, Fighter 3 (HP:34 AC:15)

Cludge looks completely befuddled by everything going on around him. He looks at the newly arrived lamias strangely, unsure exactly where they have come from or who or what they are. They all look startlingly like his new friend, even carrying the same injuries. Look here, fellas, he says, taking a five-foot step away (due south), Yer upsettin' the lady an' I ain't sure why she's so mad at ya, but ye might want te move aways a bit 'til I calms her down. Shadya! Can ye not see this poor beasty's hurt 'n jes lookin' fer some aid?
Then he grabs again for Shadya, hoping to pull her away from the creature...
[sblock=Grapple #2] Touch attack to initiate grapple 22. Initial opposed grapple check assuming AoO misses 10.[/sblock]
...taking a solid grip on her arm, but skidding a little off balance....

Conuld says in a rush "Cludge, go fetch Lasair," as he begins moving south-east, lifting his crossbow into one hand as he goes. As he skids to a stop, turning to face the monster (or one of its images), he casts a spell on himself.

OOC: Cat's Grace, +4 to Dex for 3 minutes (now AC 14, reflex save +5, ranged attacks +5)

Just for an instant, there is a happy gleam in Cludge's eyes and his face reddens as he wrestles with Shadya. She said I'm charmin'! he whispers to himself in befuddled wonderment.
Can't do it Connie, he calls out. Somefin's wrong wit Shadya, she's tryna hurt this - er, these - wounded critters!

OOC: well, he's charmed, not dominated, and he does know that Lasair is good at diplomatic solutions to problems. But if it didn't work, that's fine.

Cludge steps south and grapples Shadya. Lithe as a cat, she escapes (23) Cludge's firm grip with ease.

Shadya lashes out with dagger and sword. Her sword pierces the creature in front of her, and it disappears in a poof. Her dagger cuts across the creature to her left, and it also disappears.

Lasair delays, not sure where to direct her attack.

Kurgahz grabs his greatclub from his terrified camel and stomps loudly towards the east side of the pit.

Conuld steps SE, draws his crossbow, and casts Cat's Grace on himself.

Lasair... (not sure if you want to delay or what)

The creature prances among its remaining images, swapping spots, when suddenly all the images burst forward, leaping at Shadya, each with a dagger in hand. The creature loses its footing in the sand, however, and all the images stumble gracelessly (natural 1). The herd recovers and continues south past Shadya, towards Lasair.

(OOC: Brilliant! That's exactly what I hoped, since Lasair couldn't have done this otherwise---Lasair will close two spaces diagonal up-right and Swarm of Crystals all of them for the minimum damage (3d4). No attack roll. No save. Just really crappy damage to all three, destroying the fakes and hurting the real one)

OOC: Does Shadya get an AoO against the passing creatures or has that already been used up this round?

Cludge stops pawing at Shadya and watches confusedly as the knife-wielding creatures leap towards Lasair, in a seemingly aggressive manner. Wait, Kitty! he yells -- Er, Kitties! Cludge pounds back toward Lasair (due south 40' double move) trying to figure out just what the hell is going on.
Connie! he shouts. This here Kitty is tryin' a get away or somethin! We gotta help it!

Round 4:

After the creature approaches her, Lasair moves forward and blasts it with crystals. The shard cut at the creatures, dissipating the two images and hurting the real one. It looks quite angry now. (7 damage)

Round 5:

Cludge moves south.

OOC: The creature has spring attack, so no AoO's from the creature it attacked.

The creature looks into Cludge's eyes and adopts a terrified, pitiful expression. "Please! Help me, they won't stop hurting me!"

Kurgahz, M Half-Orc Cleric 2 (AC: 14, HP: 18/18)

Kurgahz changes course towards the creature and raises his comparitively smaller Greatclub to swing hard at the beast. "By Taurusk, you will die!" Unfortunately, the balance on his weapon is so strange that he nearly throws it away from himself as he swings it.

OOC: Attacking using Smite. Rolled a natural 1.
Enlarged atk with Smiting (1d20+8=9, 1d10+6=12)
