MM2, but it was introduced in earlier editions. It's sort of a barbarian treant. Ironheart himself is actually just a reskinned Warforged. (I didn't even know about wood woads until I'd started making him and then flipped through MM2 and said, "Hey, that's him!")

Heh, even the trees hate the fey. Can't say I don't blame 'em.

Lorik moves to his left before charging toward the elven archer, trapping the fey between the wooden newcomer and his blade.

[sblock=ACTIONS]Move: Move to M21

[sblock=ooc]Sorry, guys!! I didn't disappear, my internet connection went out and I'm waiting for my provider to fix it... I'm at a friend's place now and I don't have the time to write the 15-20 posts I should. So... wait for me for a couple more days!! (hopefully!)
[/sblock]

[sblock=I'm back!]... and hopefully it will last, this time. My line seemed fixed for a couple of days, but apparently it actually wasn't. Reeeeally been pissed for a few days.
Sorry for the inconvenience, all. Hope everyone's still here![/sblock]

The scene of the fight has evolved quickly. The strange tree-like creature misses the elf with his axe, and the archer is extremely quick to react, taking a step back and planting an arrow in the wood woad's chest.

Haruka's spell wounds the scout a great deal, and takes his toll again when the foolish fey advances again towards the party. The elf is visibly at the end of his strenght, but unfortunately, his approach turns to be a reckless charge at the sorceress, that gets hit solidly, although not too badly.
Heirich is still bleeding all alone, Derien stays unconscious, and Ikni cannot reach the nimble Eladrin. Which cannot get away safely from the genasi either, though. He looks at the wood building behind him, but the door is located on the other side. Desperate not to leave an opening, the fey unsheates a short sword and hacks at Ikni, but he is clearly not as proficient as he is with the bow, and the swing goes wide. He hastily tries to retreat, but a short step back is all that he can do without risking a heavy punishing blow.
The other archer left seems in dire straits too. He takes a step away from Lorik, and the half-elf doesn't miss the change: he inflicts a heavy blow on the elf.
...which got away nonetheless, and aims an arrow at point-blank range at the fighter: the force of desperation seems to help him, because the shot knocks Lorik down.

Status and Initiative, round 6:
-Ikni HP:9/31 S:2/11, AP:0
-Derien HP:-3/26 S:7/9 AP:2, unconscious
-Haruka HP:9/30 S:6/10 AP:0, bloodied
-Ironheart HP:21/35 S:13/13 AP:1
-Lorik HP:0/29 S:2/11 AP:1, unconscious
-Heinrich HP:-7/24 S:4/7 AP:2 unconscious
Panther -dead
-Eladrin Archer -14, aegis of shielding
-Elf scout -35, bloodied
Elf Archer 1-dead
-Elf Archer 2, -30, cursed, bloodied, marked by Lorik

ooc: I had to change the actions a bit. The elf archer reacts to Ironheart's attack, moves and fires an arrow at him, dealing a whopping 14 dmg. Since the elf is not adjacent to him anymore, he can't mark him (and could'n have anyway because the charge ends the action). Lorik can still charge the elf and hits, although he cannot flank. Also, I made him mark the elf. The elf scout charges Haruka and deals 6 dmg. The eladrin misses Ikni, while the elf hits Lorik, and with 9 dmg, he knocks him unconscious.

Ikni's clumsiness and fumbling fall away in an instant as her foe finally leaves her the opening she's been looking for. With a flash, her blade spins through a dizzying arc, laying open a horrible wound from one shoulder to the opposite hip. Worse, an ominous hum fills the air, threatening further destruction if the archer moves.

ooc: booming blade, crit! About <expurgated> time! 12 damage, and 9 thunder damage if he moves away from me on his turn. If that kills him, Ikni will run SE as far as she can towards the party (run action).

[sblock=Yay!]You're back! Now we can die!

Wait, that doesn't sound "Yay!"-worthy at all...

[sblock=Boo!]Just kidding.[/sblock]
Also, shouldn't the scout be at -35? Dire Radiance dealt 11 damage at the start, and then 5 more when he moved closer. Nevermind, I can't tell the difference between Scouts and Archers, apparently.[/sblock]

Haruka's eyes widen as the Woad charges into the fray. That was... a little more help than I was expecting, but I am grateful nonetheless.

She snaps out of her reverie as the elf cuts her. She turns towards him, snarling and ready to attack, but she holds herself back. Instead, she quickly pours her potion down Derien's throat.

Now we're even, she thinks as she braces herself for the scout's next attack and pulls out her blade. She grimaces when the shadows that had been concealing her up to now dissipate.

[sblock=Actions]Minor: Curse the scout.
Standard: Administer my healing potion to Derien, allowing him to spend a surge and gain 10 hp.
Move->Minor: Draw my sickle. No concealment for me. Good riddance.[/sblock]

Ugh...where am I?

You're dying, Lorik. The elf hit you with an arrow and you lost consciousness.

What? No! I've got to-

You're dying, Lorik. You can't move. You've lost too much blood.

...Who are YOU?

A disembodied voice. I could be any number of things. Your subconscious, I suppose. A power wizard communicating via arcane magic. A devil sent to offer you a last-minute deal to save your life. A bizarre fey just toying with you.

What do you want?

Me? I want to talk, Lorik. I just want to talk.
