Indeed there will be hazards along your path, the wraith says in response to Cyr and Jezebel. I will warn you of what I can, but I am afraid that those who serve the Shadows of Oblivion are able to hide even from my eyes within my own domain. Lead on and we shall follow!
Turning to head south, you note that the canal bisects the southern corridor. There are narrow walkways to either side of the canal, but they do not provide room enough for more than one to walk abreast, without squeezing tightly together. You see that a bridge spans the canal however, and it would be possible to distribute the party, and your undead entourage on either side of the canal.
The light shed by the brazier in the antechamber is quickly swallowed up in darkness further down the corridor. Without a torch, or some source of light, footing will be treacherous and movement slow for the living amongst you who can't see in the dark.
[sblock=Dungeoneering 12]You can tell by the acoustics of the sound of running water bouncing off the corridor walls that this passage continues for quite a ways, at least 100 yards, at a slight uphill gradient, and eventually opens out into a larger chamber.[/sblock]
[sblock=ooc - DM hiatus]Wanted to give you all a quick heads up and say that the big day's coming up! I am going to be away from Enworld from the 3rd to the 20th of September, getting married and on my honeymoon. So game-wise, we could do one of two things. Either we put the game on pause till I get back and you can continue to collect a bit of extra time xp, or we could see if renau1g might be willing to step in and post a couple of updates while I'm away if I send him my notes and maptools files. What would you guys like to do?[/sblock]
